Does your character have any close ties to existing canon characters? N/A

Why do you think your character would work in this setting? He is attempting to escape the plague of magic that has infected his life. When offered the chance to leave Peter's island, he is going to take it and try to live his life without magic. That said, Boomtown is perfect because it is a mess of both magic and technology where Bae can avoid magic but also slowly get used to it being in his life. It'll also introduce different types of magic to him and cause some fun interesting situations that might provide growth. I am excited to see how he progresses while in the game. Also eventually learning that his future son is here and older than him will be a lot of fun. He will attend school and honestly enjoy being a normal kid, who wants to have friends his age.

How do you plan to expand their CR?

Baelfire is interested in people and their worlds. This will open him up to reaching out to people, asking questions and learning. He is still in a stage when he's innocent though jaded about magic. He isn't above stealing and I hope to have him get into some trouble as young boys tend to do. He is used to being on his own so I also look forward to his guardian yelling at him or plotting things along those lines. I also want him to find something that he's passionate about, which I think will come up naturally as he reaches out to people. He's a pretty friendly boy once he realizes that he doesn't need to be skittish around everything in New Dodge. He will likely ask to change his name just because he is still running from his father and haunted by his father. I hope that this also comes up when people try to be father figures to him, and expand CR that way. Though I don't know how it will go until it happens. Generic school threads will happen and Bae will not like homework but he will be ecstatic to be at school.

What will your character do for work? He will be a minor, freshman in high school I think, and need a guardian.

Does your character have special powers or abilities? Given his father, Bae can probably use magic but he won't. So he's totally normal and human.
